Stena Line’s latest addition to its Irish Sea fleet is the cruise ferry Stena Vision

The Stena Vision, Stena Line's new addition to the Rosslare-Cherbourg service, is due to arrive at the Irish port for berthing trials on Sunday morning. Built in 1987 as Stena Germanica, the ship comes to the Irish Sea fresh from a major refit investment programme and is due to go into service on the Rosslare-Cherbourg route on 30 June.

Stena Horizon

Her arrival will provide Stena Line with a significant increase in capacity operating alongside the smaller Stena Horizon. The Stena Vision will have space for 1,300 passengers and 485 passenger cabins, With 2214 lane metres for freight, she will also increase driver accompanied capacity with more cabin space for truck drivers. Frequency on the will increase to six departure days providing 12 sailings per week.
